PayMaya Philippines and Bayad Center, the country’s leading bills payment company came together recently to provide a better, more convenient way to pay bills and government fees. This is through using the PayMaya app, a digital credit card brand and the leading digital payment app in the Philippines.
Pay Bills Using the PayMaya App
Users just need to download the PayMaya app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Then, in an instant, they can settle their bills on time using the ‘Pay Bills’ feature on the app. Partnered billers include Bayad Center-affiliated companies like MERALCO, PLDT, Laguna Water, and Cignal. Other partners and agencies planned to join include Smart, Sun Cellular, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, POEA, Maynilad, PRC, and the NBI.
PayMaya subscribers can load their app at any of the 15,000 reloading stations open nationwide. These stations include SM Malls Business Centers, Robinsons Department STores, Bayad Centers, 7-Eleven stores with Cliqq kiosks, TouchPay Kiosks, and Smart Padala Centers. However, for an online option, BDO is a viable method for Paymaya users. Fortunately, none of these methods require the user to go to a bank, or open a bank account!
Besides the PayMaya virtual account, however, customers can also get a physical PayMaya card. These cards will work at physical stores worldwide that accept Visa. Also, a beep variant of the physical card can be availed. This will allow users to ride the MRT, LRT, and BGC buses that accept beep.
