Aiming to go just beyond being the leader in market share, OPPO opens its latest APAC Hub Center in Malaysia, establishing its reputation as an overall well-rounded brand in the region.
This is the fourth hub inaugurated in the last few years next to Gurugram, India; Dubai, UAE; and Düsseldorf, Germany centers, and in line with the Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communications company’s global expansion strategy. OPPO is furthermore banking on market research institute GfK’s report that the APAC region will see a noticeable growing demand for “Technical Consumer Goods” in 2020.

OPPO’s regional expansion moreover coincides with the company’s business development into IoT for personal and home applications, digital content creation, and mobile internet services. OPPO also aims to increase its workers in the region to 55,000, of which 95% will be local.
