Inspiring a generation of young Filipino photographers takes wisdom and new perspective. Luckily, OPPO‘s new “See Beyond” program relates to this as it urges artsy ones to freely express themselves through images and other creative outlets. A dedicated content exchange platform is already set and the call for entries has begun; interested joiners can submit their photos until July 17, 2019.
Through project funding, mentoring, and public work display, the “See Beyond” creators aim to nurture talent for photography and widen the Filipino people’s creative expression in the craft. Popular creators including IPA Award-winning photographer lker Karaman, actress Chun Xia, and Magnum Photos photographer Lua Ribeira were invited as featured guests at the Creators Award; they were also kind enough to share their passion and experiences at the event.
