The OPPO A57, the newest A-series device, delivers a 16-megapixel flagship-level selfie camera, a bokeh mode, and a fingerprint scanner for a low price point of PHP 11,990.
This 5.2-inch budget phone also sports a Sony IMX258 rear camera paired with a f/2.2 aperture lens. Basically, A57 users get the ability to take crystal clear photos even at night. At its best, it’s possible to produce images of up to 52 megapixels. In addition, users will also have access to a hydrophobic zirconium fingerprint scanner that can detect even moist fingers.
Rest assured, however, that the cheaper price does not mean you get subpar specs. OPPO A57 buyers will also enjoy the 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 processor and 3GB RAM. Finally, a 2900 mAh battery allows for supposedly 11 hours of video watching, or 15.5 hours of regular use. While not the best specs, these should be enough to satisfy the needs of almost any smartphone user.
The OPPO A57 releases on June 16, 2017, with an SRP of PHP 11,990. The limited Black Edition OPPO F3 will also hit the store shelves on the same date.
