Adding more models under the notched-screen hype, Oppo has introduced the Oppo A5, an elegant-looking device tagged at a sub-PhP 15k price.

The Oppo A5 flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ display in 720 x 1520 resolution. More than its notched screen, the Oppo A5 can steal looks with its diamond-backed design.
Inside, the device comes with an ageing yet still capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, octa-core processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU. It has an ample 4GB RAM plus 64GB internal expandable storage.
In terms of imaging, the Oppo A5 has a dual rear camera system comprised of a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. Its selfie camera comes in a form of an 8-megapixel shooter.
Other specs include dual sim capability, 4G LTE connection, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a microUSB port with OTG function. The Oppo A5 runs on a ColorOS 5.1 on top of an Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The Oppo A5 is officially available for pre-order in China for CNY 1500 or around PhP 12,000 when converted to local currency. No news yet regarding its local availability.
