Professional gamers and enthusiasts gathered last April 14 for the second NVIDIA Gamers Conference at Congo Grille in Ortigas. Led by NVIDIA Country Representative Glenn Paul Serrano, the event featured the latest products such as the GeForce Experience, a visual settings tweaker freely available for download, and the GeForce GTX Titan, a graphics card that utilizes the Kepler architecture, the latest technology NVIDIA offers to the video gaming arena.
Two featured speakers shared their online and professional gaming experiences. Josh Cabrera, a World of Tanks expert gamer, shared his experiences in the virtual battlefield, and commended NVIDIA for giving the community the quality gaming experience it deserved.
Elgee Gaboy, a member of the World Cyber Games Bronze Medalist professional e-sports team MSI Evolution GT, gave his fellow gamers insights about the importance and the positive effects of being a gamer, as well as the huge potential of the Filipino gaming community as a competitor in the world of professional e-sports.
Also present were video card industry veterans MSI, Inno3D, and ASUS, partners of NVIDIA that gave their support in the conference, as well as boast their top-notch products. Several top of the line video cards such as the MSI 660ti, Inno3D GTX 650, and ASUS GTX 650ti were given through a raffle draw for the event participants.
Hardware performance and visual enhancement tools are both important factors to get best gaming experience possible. With the support that NVIDIA Philippines is giving to the Filipino gaming community, gamers would surely have something more to look forward to, whether it is hardware, software, or great gaming events like this one.
