NVIDIA just announced that free registration for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Pro and Amateur international tournament is now open at https://esports.geforce.com. Featuring Blizzard Entertainment’s critically acclaimed digital collectible card game the tournament will feature Pro and amateur players competing online for their share of the $25K prize pool and qualification points for the Hearthstone World Championship.
Aside from the cash prize pool, all pro players and the 16 amateurs who make the brackets will receive NVIDIA SHIELD tablets.
Registration is open until March 19. Group stage gameplay will run from March 26 through May 14.
The NVIDIA Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Tournament finals will be held on May 16 and will feature the top 16 professional players facing off against the top 16 amateur players in a best of 5, single elimination bracket playoff.
Premier matches will be streamed on www.Twitch.tv/NVIDIA and shoutcasted by Dan “œFrodan” Chou and Marcin “œGnimsh” Filipowicz. The tournament will also include top players Cong “Strifecro” Shu, Janne “Savjz” Mikkonen and Jan “Faramir” Engelmann.
