Seeking to develop the ultimate imaging experience in smartphones, Nokia teams up with Zeiss to develop their next big device.
Years ago, Nokia and Zeiss initially came together to develop the Lumia 1020. This time, both brands look to break new boundaries. Furthermore, HMD Global, the owners of the Nokia trademark, confirmed this by announcing the partnership as exclusive. Focusing on smartphone cameras, the HMD Global-ZEISS collab look to bring the Nokia brand into the modern era.
So far, Nokia already released the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6. However, these serve as budget phones, while the current team-up points towards as a flagship. In fact, early leaks reported dual rear cameras both clocking in at 13-megapixels. For now, though, we can only speculate and wait for official word from HMD GLobal.
