Although the 8-megapixel Nokia N86 was already shown the other night at the Showcase Nokia 2009 in Singapore, official release was made only at 4PM this afternoon to coincide with the WMC event in Barcelona.
The N86 8MP is Nokia’s first 8-megapixel NSeries phone that touts a Carl Zeiss Tessar optics.

An obvious upgrade to the Nokia N85, the N86 has a better flash unit of up to 3.5 meters on top of the 8MP Carl Zeiss optics. It also has a variable aperture F2.4/3.2/F4.8.
The unit will be released before the end of the 2nd quarter of 2009 with a suggested retail price of 375 euros or just under Php23,000.
The N86 was announced along with the Nokia E75, Nokia E55, and the Nokia 6710 Navigator.
