Nokia today announced five new handsets including three smartphones based on the new Nokia X software platform. Based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), the Nokia X runs Android apps, Microsoft services and signature Nokia experiences.
The three new Nokia X smartphones, Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL all have Lumia-inspired body and tile-based user interface and can be installed with the same popular apps which are available for the Nokia X devices including Facebook, LINE Free Voice and Messages, LINE Camera, LINE Bubble, Picsart, Plants vs. Zombies 2, Real Football 2014, Skype, Spotify, Swiftkey, Twitter, Viber, Vine and WeChat.
Both the Nokia X and Nokia X+ comes with a 4-inch IPS display while the Nokia XL has a bigger 5-inch display. All three Nokia X smartphones are powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual-Core Processor and have DUAL-SIM capabilities.
The Nokia X will soon be available in Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, starting at EUR 89 (around Php 5,458). The Nokia X+ and Nokia XL will be available early second quarter with the X+ priced at EUR 99 (around Php 6,066 ) and the XL at EUR 109(around Php 6,679).
