The Nokia E7 is like the business-oriented N8 smartphone. It is one of the first Nokia phones that uses the new Symbian^3 OS which means better and smarter user interface.
It is shaped like the Nokia N8 but the E7 has a bigger 4-inch touchscreen and a slideout QWERTY keyboard. On board is the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync that allows it to provide direct, real-time and secure access to corporate email accounts and other applications.
Had similar experience with the Nokia E7 when I tried the N8. Well I didn’t try the business application side of it but they’re pretty much the same with regards to features and performance-wise. I still encounter the occasional lag when switching home panels or launching applications but it was impressive watching HD video on its big screen. Its 8MP camera with LED flash is serviceable as a handy, portable shooter.
According to Nokia reps, the E7 will be launched early next year, around January with a price ranging from Php30k – Php35k.
