Nokia made a really affordable, social networking-centric phone in the Nokia C3. It has a full-QWERTY keyboard that appeals to a lot of people considering the success of the Nokia E63 and E72.
Recently, Nokia announced a new type of C3. The Nokia C3-01 which offers touch capability to go with its candybar form factor. It looks like your typical basic Nokia handset, think of the popular 6300, but is made for people who needs to stay connected with their social networks.
So is this simply a battle of form-factors? Full QWERTY or Touch and Type? Clearly, there are worthy upgrades on the inside for the C3-01. Check out the specs comparison below.

Is it really a matter of input and design preference when choosing between the two? The Nokia C3 looks modern while the C3-01 looks old-school. But that’s not the case on the inside. The C3-01 supports 3G, has a 5mp camera with flash and up to 32GB external memory which translates to more space for your video recordings.
Between the two, I would go for the C3-01 just because of the faster connection which is important to me. If you often use your camera to take photos and upload to Facebook then the C3-01 will be good for you. We can’t discount the appeal of having a full QWERTY keyboard though so it’s really a toss-up between the two.
