Nokia just announced the availability of the Nokia Asha 200 which looks like the once-popular Nokia C3 with its QWERTY keyboard and playful colors.
Just like the recent dual-sim phones from Nokia, the Asha 200 features Easy Swap which allows users to hotswap their SIM cards without taking out the battery or turning it off. This phone can store up to five SIM profiles where you can assign a name, logo and ringtone for each SIM. A nice phone to have for travelers who uses a number of SIM cards.
The Asha 200 includes a dedicated key to access e-mail and chat services via Nokia Messaging. It also has Nokia Communities that lets you do a one-click sign-in to your social network accounts like Facebook and Twitter so you can post status or photos at once straight from the home screen. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have WiFi so you have to make do with your data plan to connect to the internet. It doesn’t have 3G either like the Nokia C3.
The phone supports up to 32GB microSD so you can use it for your music, apps and games. Aside from the FM radio, it also has an FM recording feature that allows users to record straight from the radio. I’m not sure if a lot of people find that useful though.
You can get the Nokia Asha 200 from Nokia stores nationwide for a really affordable price of Php3,500. It comes in a wide range of colors: Pink, Aqua, Green, Blue, Orange, Graphite, White, and Light Pink.
