More Features Leaked as Nokia 9 Passes Through FCC
Rumored HMD Global Oy’s upcoming Anroid flagship Nokia 9 had reportedly made a stop at the Federal Communication Commission website. The US government-run organization website also hints that the possible new flagship launch might just come sooner than most think. Just earlier in the month, the phone cleared its 3C certification in China.
Linked with the test model number TA-1005 in the FCC filing, the new phone reportedly features a 5.5-inch LG-sourced OLED display. The new flagship will allegedly come with a dual rear camera setup, capable of shooting at 12MP and 13MP, respectively. Its front camera, on the other hand, can shoot at up to 5MP.
In addition, it also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998) octa-core CPU and 128Gb Samsung UFS 2.1 storage. Powered with a 3,250mAh battery and 18W-fast charging capabilities, the Nokia 9 will run on Google’s latest Android Oreo software.
On the other hand, an image of the new handset’s front panel surfaced online. This teases a FullView bezel-less display at an 18:9 aspect ratio. Most new reports on specifications and design reflect previous spec rumors.
Similar to its Nokia 6 announcement in 2017, HMD Global Oy announced its press event in China on January 19, 2018. This could be where the company reveals the latest Nokia Android flagship.
