Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently released its newest Hilux GR Sport (GR-S) last September 13, 2023. It’s available in three different colors: Emotional Red, Super White II / Attitude Black Mica (2-tone), and Attitude Black Mica.
On the outside, the Hilux GR-S is 120mm wider and 65mm taller than the past GR Hilux, designed with a wide-tread body, matte black GR-S overfenders, 17-inch alloy GR design wheels with All-Terrain Tires, and the GR Aero sports bar. The car is powered by a 2.8L Diesel, 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC Variable Nozzle Turbo engine with an air-cooled intercooler, as well as an improved maximum output of 224PS and maximum torque of 550Nm. It also contains GR front and rear disc brakes with GR brake calipers, and monotube shock absorbers.
Furthermore, the car’s interior features GR-S suede and leather seats and, a leather steering wheel, together with red seatbelts and technical mesh on the leather door trims which complement each other. A 9-inch Display Audio with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Wireless Charger are also present inside the car, along with different functions: Smart Entry, Push Start System, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Toyota Safety Sense, Panoramic View Monitor, Anti-Lock Brake System, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist Control, and Downhill Assist Control.
