Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S5 heat up anew as SamMobile just published about new details about the smartphone’s specs and features. According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S5 will be available in two versions. One will sport a metallic black plate with metal materials for its front and sides. If this is true, then Samsung is going to make a lot of fanboys happy as this is one of the most wanted feature of the Samsung Galaxy S line.
Aside from the metallic version, another Samsung Galaxy S5 will also be released. This time, the unit will have the usual plastic material very much like other Galaxy S versions. With regards to pricing, naturally the metallic Galaxy S5 will be more expensive at around $1,092 while the cheaper one will cost around $888.
When it comes to specs, according to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S5 metallic version will rock an Exynos 6 model CPU while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 will be used in the plastic version of the Galaxy S5.
Other rumored specs include a 5.25-inch Super AMOLED display, 16MP camera, Quad HD (2560×1440) resolution and of course it will be running Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launched sometime in March in London and will be released probably in Europe first sometime in April. If this timeline is correct, let’s expect the Samsung Galaxy S5 to be released sometime in July in the Philippines. If my memory serves me right, the Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4 were released around that month.
