In the past few days, MyPhone has released two units in succession, both sporting prices below the Php 1,500 price range. Each phone provides a specific use that is almost exclusive to that unit. These phones are the my112 SOS Phone and the myS3 TV.
The my112 SOS Phone is a basic unit that packs a whopping 6,000mAh battery that could last for a week on a single charge, as well as water and shock-resistant body built to withstand emergencies like earthquakes or flash floods. In the same vein, the phone also sports an SOS button that will produce a siren sound, alerting any rescuers to your location should the worst happen. This model is available now for Php 1,399 at all MyPhone kiosks and stores.
The myS3 TV, on the other hand, is similar to MyPhone’s DTV series but instead streams television broadcasts in standard quality. Its key feature, however, is a Fake Money Reader, wherein the phone will project UV light in order to determine whether a bill is counterfeit or legitimate. It is priced at Php 799.
