Select owners of the Moto Z and Moto Z2 Force in the Latin Americas recently received emails allowing them to sign up for the Android Oreo beta program, hinting that Motorola might implement this for all phones soon!
Dubbed the ‘Motorola Feedback Network’, it offers the ability to get into the Oreo beta before the mass market does. In addition, it states that owners of the Moto Z lineup may receive the update ‘within 48 hours’. Although still in beta, this marks a point where eventually, all current Moto phones will get Android Oreo.
For now, though, the beta program seems limited to those who got the Moto emails. However, rumors point to a larger launch in December 2017.
