The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 becomes more and more of a reality everyday, and now, thanks to Reddit, we might now know what the product will look like in the box.
On a very positive note, it resembles the usual non-US packaging for Samsung Glaxy phones. Additionally, it matches with UK packaing as well. On the box itself, it suggests that the regular Galaxy S9 will tout a 5.8-inch display as a full model. Alternatively, with rounded corners, we get 5.6-inches. Plus, the resolution will be Quad HD+ and a Super AMOLED display.
Well, I should clarify that it resembles non-US Samsung Galaxy packaging, since this doesn’t match up in almost any way to what we see on Samsung phones here. It does match-up to UK packaging, though, and so we’re talking about it today. For the camera, the box suggests a ‘Super Speed Dual Pixel’ 12-megapixel camera with OIS and a f/1.5 aperture. Meanwhile, the term ‘Super Slow-mo’ is noted, but no real detail on what that entails. For the selfie shooter, expect an 8-megapixel lens. Other notable specs include AKG-tuned speakers, IP68 resistance, an Iris Scanner, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and wireless charging.
If this turns out to be a legitimate box for the S9, then expect a lot of brand new features to come with this flagship.
