eSakay’s e-Jeeps are 100 percent electric and compliant with the PUV modernization. The electric vehicles feature side entrance and on-board Wi-Fi. The new jeepneys also employs an Automated Fare Collection System, Web and app-based GPS tracking system, and CCTV cameras.
The eSakay PUVs also prioritize senior citizens and PWD for its seats. These are even equipped with accessories such as USB ports where passengers can charge their phones while on travel.
Present during the launch are DOTR Secretary Atty. Arthur Tugade, LTFRB Chairman Atty. Martin Delgra III, DOE Secretary Mr. Alfonso Cusi. Makati City Mayor Hon. Mar-len Abigail Binay and Mandaluyong City Mayor Hon. Carmelita Abalos will also grace the inauguration.
