Meizu is set to launch another smartphone under its mid-range portfolio, aiming to challenge Xiaomi’s Mi 8 SE.
According to GSMarena, a leak showed that a Meizu phone with a model number M816Q has been approved. Sources believed that this latest report could be the firm’s Meizu X8.
Just only last week when Meizu Founder Jack Wong revealed the company was working on a new device that could surpass Mi 8 SE.
Even though it would not sport an in-display fingerprint sensor, he said X8 will boast larger display than the competitor. It will also be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The top official also hinted the price tag of the newest smartphone. He said it will be priced less than $305, almost the same with the Mi 8 SE.
Stay tuned for more details of its launch in the market!
