The Dimensity product line include the following processors: the Dimensity 1000+, Dimensity 820, Dimensity 800, Dimensity 800U, and Dimensity 720. These flagship processors for smartphone offers industry-standard 5G connectivity feature along with other functions.

MediaTek Dimensity 1000+
The Dimensity 1000+ features four cores of 2.6GHz Cortex-A77 and four cores of 2.0GHz Cortex-A55. This SoC placed first on the ETH Zurich AI Benchmark Ranking with APU 3.0 AI.
The 1000+ model carries 5G modem advantages, which are also available in other Dimensity Series models. The 5G 2CC Carrier Aggregation is an essential feature in 220 and beyond, and it is available in the Dimensity 1000+. Its high-speed 5G coverage is 30% more faster than other 5G SoCs. The MediaTek 5G UltraSave allows for a power-efficient modem design for smartphones. it uses an intelligent algorithm that dynamically adjusts power configuration and operating frequency based on the network environment and data transmission quality.
Among the smartphones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 series are: the Redmi k30 Ultra ; the iQOO Z1; and the Realme X7 Pro.
MediaTek Dimensity 820
Boasting a 7nm TSMC process, the Dimensity 820 comes with four cores of 2.6GHz Cortex-A76 and four cores of 2.0GHz Cortex-A55. This is paired with a five-core Mali-G75 graphics processing unit and APU 3.0 AI engine.
The 820 chipset offers 5G 2CC Carrier Aggregation up to 2.34Gbps, plus it features dual 5G SIM support. It also has 2/3/4/5G Multi-Mode and MediaTek’s 5G UltraSave. Additionally, this model have two-channel LPDDR4x memory type with up to 16GB capacity. For gaming, it boasts MediaTek Hyper Engine 2.0.
The Dimnesity 820 can also support four main cameras at the same time. It can carry up to 80MP @ 30fps max resolution and up to 32MP + 16MP dual camera setup. It allows a maximum of 4K @ 60fps or 4k @ 30fps video recording. Moreover, this processor features the MediaTek Imagiq.
For displays, the 820 Series works with up to Full HD+ (2520 x 1080) display and 120Hz refresh rate. There’s support for HDR10+ and has MediaTek Miravision. Connectivity features are 2×2 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1. Meanwhile, the sensors are GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
These devices come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 800: the Redmi 10X and 10X Pro.
MediaTek Dimensity 800
The Dimensity 800 boasts a TSMC 7nm process. It has four cores of 2.0GHz Cortex-A76 and four cores of 2.0GHz Cortex-A55. A four-core Mali G57 GPU and the APU 3.0 AI engine helps with the work. For gaming, it comes equipped with MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0.
Like the 820, the 800 model offers 5G 2CC Carrier Aggregation up to 2.34Gbps. It has dual SIM support, too–one for 5G and one for 4G network. There’s also 2/3/4/5G Multi-Mode feature and MediaTek 5G UltraSave. It allows for 2-channel LPDDR4x memory up to 16GB.
The Dimnesity 800 supports a maximum of four main cameras at the same time. It can carry up to 64MP single camera @ 30fps max resolution and up to 32MP + 16MP dual camera setup. It allows a maximum of 4K @ 60fps or 4k @ 30fps video recording. The MediaTek Imagiq feature is also available.

MediaTek Dimensity 800U
With a 7nm TSMC process, the Dimensity 800U features two cores of 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 and six cores of 2.0GHz Cortex-A55. This works with an Arm Mali-G57 MC3 GPU and the MediaTek APU AI engine.
The 800U chipset offers 5G Carrier Aggregation up to 120MHz and 2.34Gbps, plus it features dual 5G SIM support. It also has MediaTek’s 5G UltraSave. Additionally, this model has LPDDR4x memory type with up to 12GB capacity.
The Dimnesity 800U carry up to 64MP single camera @ 22fps max resolution and up to 20MP + 16MP @ 30fps dual camera setup. It allows a maximum of 4K @ 30fps video recording. Moreover, this processor features the MediaTek Imagiq.
The 800U model works with up to Full HD+ (2520 x 1080) display and 120Hz refresh rate. There’s support for MediaTek Miravision. Connectivity features are 2×2 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1, while the sensors are GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
MediaTek Dimensity 720
The Dimensity 720 boasts a TSMC 7nm process. This model comes with two cores of 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 and six cores of 2.0GHz Cortex-A55. An Arm Mali-G57 MC3 GPU and the MediaTek APU AI engine adds power.
Moreover, the 720 line offers 5G 2CC Carrier Aggregation up to 2.34Gbps. There’s dual SIM support–one for 5G and one for 4G network. The MediaTek 5G UltraSave feature is available. This processor also aup to 12GBÂ LPDDR4x memory.
The Dimnesity 720 supports up to 64MP single camera @ 22fps max resolution and up to 20MP + 16MP dual camera setup @ 30fps. MediaTek also included the Imagiq feature in this model.
For the screen, the 720 can carry up to Full HD+ (2520 x 1800) resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. There’s also support MediaTek Miravision. Connectivity features and sensors are 2×2 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1., GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
The Relame V5 and the OPPO A72 5G both comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 720.
