Even with the local availability of LG V35 ThinQ remains uncertain, we’re pretty sure that it will arrive in our local shores sooner or later. While we wait, let’s get to know the Korean smartphone giant’s latest addition to their highly-acclaimed V series.
Carrying LG’s trademark expertise in multimedia smartphones, the LG V35 ThinQ flaunts a 6.0-inch QHD+ FullVision Display in 18:9 screen-to-body ratio and 2880 x 1440 resolution accentuated through the device’s curved screen. This makes the LG V35 ThinQ an apt device for video viewing, which is further amplified with its Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio feature with DTS: X delivering 3D surround sound for unprecedented audio performance.
The LG V35 ThinQ’s display also comes coated with a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and an IP68 rating, making it both dust- and water-resistant.
In terms of its internals, the LG V35 ThinQ runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with a combination of a 6GB RAM plus 64GB internal storage which can be maximized up to a whopping 2TB via microSD support. The more generous 6GB RAM + 128GB storage combination goes to the LG V35+.
In terms of the cameras, the LG V35 ThinQ joins the AI-powered camera smartphone list with its AI Camera with 19 shooting modes on top of its two 16-megapixel real cameras in standard and Super Wide angle lenses. The rear cameras of the LG V35 ThinQ also has the new Super Bright Camera mode which captures low light images up to four times brighter. On the flip side, the LG V35 ThinQ has an 8-megapixel shooter.
The LG V35 ThinQ runs on a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and operates on an Android 8.0 OS.
