Leaks of upcoming smartphones have yet to end, as evidenced by the new leaked LG V20 renders. Steve Hemmerstoffer, @onleaks, released this particular render. This is the same leaker who showed a render of what may be the Xperia XR.
Render Details
If the renders are the real deal, then this handset is more angular than the G5. However, it will sport the same dual-lens camera setup with a larger display. Current guesses point to anywhere between 5.6 to 5.7 inches. There may also be a secondary ticker display, and a rear fingerprint scanner. But more importantly, the V20 may be another modular phone.
The renders, after all, point to a release switch on the bottom-right side of the phone, much like the G5 model. This comes as a surprise after the less-than-positive market performance of the G5. However, some say that this is merely a coincidence. By the time the G5 was sold, the V20 would have already been in development.
Finally, the renders seem to display one front-facing selfie camera, versus the two lenses on the V10. In terms of dimensions, rumors point to it being similar to the G5. Other particular specs have not yet been detailed.
The LG V20, recently unveiled as the first smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat straight from the box, will be officially shown on September 6. Until then, be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
