Teased earlier in a group press render, the LG G7 ThinQ got a close-up of its gray/silver iteration leaked. This time, Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared a photo of the black variant itself. The G7 ThinQ black version close-up render offers nothing new apart from a good look at the device.
Apart from its chin, the screen comes with the controversial notch up top. Of course, users would have the option to hide it, should they wish to, via software. It also comes with a vertically aligned set of dual rear cameras like the iPhone X. Meanwhile, instead of dropping the fingerprint scanner like Apple’s flagship, the G7 ThinQ maintains it at the back. The branding also appears on the back of the phone.
LG G7 ThinQ Pricing and Availability
Launching officially on May 2, the G7 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset. It will also sport a 6.1-inch Full Vision “Super Bright Display,” as LG calls it. With a 19.5:9 ratio, the new display will come with a 3,120 x 1,440 resolution. LG has yet to reveal pricing options for the new phone, so we’ll have to wait.
On a related note, Blass also shared the silver version in a much earlier tweet on the same thread.
