LG is set to unveil their new flagship, the G4, on April 28, but press renders are now circulating in the web thanks to leaks from the Korean tech company’s microsite.
The LG G4 is said to sport a 5.5-inch “Quantum” IPS display, a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, and 3GB of RAM on top of the removable 3000mAh battery at an 8.9mm thin smartphone profile. The phone will also be equipped with 16-megapixel f/1.9 rear and 2.1-megapixel front cameras, which tout a DSLR-style manual mode.
One thing we found odd is that that the leaks are now pointing to the new flagship shipping with Android 4.4.2 KitKat instead of Android Lollipop out of the box.
As already teased beforehand, the leaks also pointed to a genuine leather cover option in addition to plastic black, white, gold and violet colors.
The LG G4 is set to be launched on April 28. Until then, we’re keeping an eye out for more updates.
