The pricing and availability of the new Yoga Slim 7i is yet to be announced on October 26, 2020. However, we can already go into details on the specifications and features this Lenovo laptop has to offer.
Design & Construction
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon boasts its incredibly light yet astoundingly strong form factor. Plus, its beautiful appearance conceals the ruggedness it truly offers.
The latest addition to the Yoga family is elegantly crafted with mobility in mind. It weighs just 966g, so it’s ultra-light and rests gently on the palm. It comes with a design that tapers toward the front, providing a sleek profile at just 14.25mm.
The cover flaunts a stunning Moon White finish. To achieve such a feat, the White-carbon cover underwent a unique process involving three layers of high heat and six to nine hours of painting.
But don’t be fooled as underneath the gorgeous shell is a promise of rugged durability. This aero-grade carbon fiber was carefully layered and bonded using the same high-precision manufacturing process used in supercars. The proprietary Web-Core 2.0 multi-layer carbon fiber has reduced the material weight further by 47 percent. Additionally, it increased durability by 25 percent compared with previous generation.
The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon also went through Lenovo’s strict in-house reliability test and nine military-grade tests for durability. It meets MIL-STD-810G standards. This laptop can withstand a variety of knocks and bumps. Moreover, it is resistant to dust and extreme temperatures. Truly, its drop-tested structure can make it through everyday wear and tear.

Meanwhile, the high capacity 50-watt-per-hour battery powers users with 15 hours of video playback. Alternatively, it can cover up to 13 hours of all-day office productivity. Other features
Starting with the exterior, the Lenovo Yoga Sim 7i Carbon has a lip on the front cover that provides room for a one-finger display lift. With Flip-to-boot technology, the display lift action is intelligently captured. The laptop boots to Windows desktop, even from a cold state.
The Lenovo Smart Assist also offers a safer, smarter platform. It combines thoughtfully curated hardware, software, and artificial intelligence.
