New renders of the Huawei P10 Plus came out recently, according to a Chinese report.
From speculation so far (based on past leaked renders), the P10 seems to have no rear-sensor and a physical home button. Thus, speculation believes that the fingerprint scanner would move to the front.
The confusing part here, however, involves the inclusion of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, despite theories that the physical home button would also function as a sensor. But since there’s no reason to have two different fingerprint sensors, it appears that the physical home button will be just that. A physical home button.
Additionally, the P10 Plus will have a curved screen much like the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Rumors also say it will be similar in size to the Mate 9 Pro, which measures at 5.5-inches. Finally, the P10 Plus has a ring-flash that surrounds the laser-assist sensor for autofocus. This ring flash also appeared in previous leaks of the P10 Plus.
Sources also gave possible specs. These include a HiSilicon Kirin 960 for the P10, while the P10 Plus gets a Kirin 965 (it’s clocked higher). The P10 will apparently have 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants. On the other hand, the P10 Plus’ variants reportedly sport 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB memories. All variants would remain expandable via microSD. For the OS, it might run Android Nougat with EMUI 5.0.
Rumored battery sizes for the P10 and P10 Plus come in at3,100 mAh and 3,650 mAh, respectively. For colors, users might have the option to get a green or a purple variant.
Official pricing and official details will unveil at MWC 2017 along with the smartphones themselves. But if you want to stick to the rumor mill, the P10 reportedly retails at USD 699 (PHP 34,723).
