Numerous reports are appearing online regarding the improved camera sensor of the upcoming iPhone 6s. Apple has been using an 8 megapixel rear camera since 2011 during the release of the iPhone 4s and if the rumours are indeed true, this will be the first time that Apple will be upgrading the iPhone megapixel count in nearly four years.
Report says that the new iPhone will have a bumped up 12 megapixel camera and will make use of Sony’s RGBW sensor design instead of the traditional RGB, offering additional white sub-pixels, thus improving the camera’s low-light performance and autofocus speed.
