Users will now be able to communicate through the Instagram voice message feature, as announced by the company app through a tweet the other day.
This Instagram update lets you send voice recordings to your friends and families, as well as listen to theirs’. This will roll out in all iPhone and Android phones gradually.
To experience the Instagram Voice Message feature, tap and hold the microphone icon beside the text field. Record your message and release the button to send the message. To discard the recording, move your finger to the trash icon while you’re recording.
Apps such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Snapchat have been letting users enjoy this feature for some time now. While Instagram started purely as a photo sharing app, it slowly added other amazing features as years went by.
