The Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP) announced the first details of the Digital Congress (DigiCon 2017), including speakers and activities.

Digicon 2017 will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center, from October 11 to 13. This year, they will have the theme of ‘DX: The Culture of Digital Transformation’. With the goal of helping Filipino marketers adapt in the modern era, Digicon 2017 focuses on fosturing a unique digital culture. Additionally, this congress will be the largest of this kind in the Philippines. Also, around 2,500 delegates from various industries are expected to arrive.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn from global opinion leaders. These include Brian Solis, an Altimeter Group Principal Analyst and award-winning author. For the 2017 Congress, Solis aims to detail the relationship between the evolution of technology and its impact on people.
Overall, about 80 speakers will share their expertise. Not only that, but five main topics will dominate this year’s Digicon discussions. Mainly, these five topics will cover People and Organizations, New Age of Storytelling, Living Streams, Customer Experience, and Pivots and Unicorns. But that’s not all, as one new track will join the five main topcs for 2017, Culture. The Culture topic focuses on fostering collaboration and showing how digital technology can be accessed by everyone.
