Identity V has recently released a new update for their game. Seasons are changing and it’s only appropriate that Identity V will Follow. With the new update, players can enjoy a new game mode, a new hunter, a new map and a new package. Fear always springs from the unknown, so let’s break down each update for Season 3.
New Game Mode
Duo Hunters are now ready to terrorize survivors in the manor. In this game mode, two hunters will face off against eight survivors. Hunters and survivors can phone the owner of the manor to buy items using points. Items such as the Tactile Stick and Holy Key and other exclusive Duo Hunter game mode items are available for purchase in-game.
Survivors can now carry two items, allowing strategic choice of items to fight off hunters, while hunters can only carry one to level out the playing field. Items combined with special abilities will lead and develop a new play style for both Survivors and Hunters alike.
New Character and Map
The Season 3 Patch Notes introduces players to a new hunter named Wu Chang. The souls of the White and Black Guards souls have been imbued in an umbrella: one light, one dark, destined to never meet. The souls of those that gaze upon Wu Chang will be drained. Wu Chang is the first hunter at the manor to be able to switch forms.
In the light of the new update; the addition of a new map called Moon River Park which is a taboo subject for nearby residents after a nightmarish gathering. Moon River Park is expected to have new interaction mechanisms with the latest update. Coupled with the new update is the Red Riding Hood package which can be purchased in-game. It contains an S rank costume for the Mechanic, Red Riding Hood and the S accessory, Quiver.
