Huawei just announced yet another affordable Y series smartphone – the Huawei Y6 (2018). Already arriving in countries like the Philippines and Russia, the Y6 (2018) comes with a single 13MP sensor, instead of dual cameras.
Powered with an Adreno 506 GPU, the 5.7-inch 18:9 display comes with a resolution of 1440 x 720. In addition, the phone also touts a Snapdragon 450 chipset with a 1.8GHz octa-core CPU.
With no physical fingerprint scanner, the Y6 (2018) uses Face Unlock for security.
The Y6 (2018) will sell as a mid-range device, so expect no frills. It comes equipped with a 5MP camera and a few AR effects for both its primary and secondary shooters. In addition, Huawei also built it with 2Gb RAM and 16Gb ROM, expandable via microSD.
With a 3,000mAh battery, the Y6 (2018) comes in Black, Blue, and Gold.
