After announcing the GPU Turbo feature for the recently-unveiled Honor Play, Huawei has announced at the CES Asia that they will also roll it out on some of their smartphones.
The GPU Turbo feature is essential in improving a smartphone’s graphics efficiency and performance. The said software function will also boost GPU performance by up to 60 percent while at the same time reducing power consumption by 30 percent.
The Huawei Mate 10 and the Honor V10 is slated to receive this software addition this month, while other Huawei and Honor smartphones will have it in not later than November.
The P20 Series, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, Nova 2s, Honor 10, and MediaPad M5 will have it on July, while the Nova 3e, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy 7s, Maimang 6, Honor 9 Lite, and Honor Play 7X are set to receive the GPU Turbo tech on August.
The Mate 9 Series, P10 Series, Honor 9, and Honor V9 are slated for an October roll out, while the rest of Huawei and Honor devices are lined up for a November update.
