The all-new P30 and P30 Pro leads Huawei’s latest lineup of its flagship smartphones. But the tech giant isn’t done yet as it adds another entry to the P30 family: the Huawei P30 Lite. Positioned to be a midrange device and a more affordable option in the Huawei flagship line, the P30 Lite offers the same stylish design as the higher-end P30s as well as Huawei’s cutting-edge mobile technologies.
Design & Construction
The Huawei P30 Lite shares similar design elements to the P30 and P30 Pro, including the small notch and rear camera setup. The 6.15-inch display is flanked by minimal side and top bezels; the bottom bezel is a little thicker than the rest, but still minimal overall. The power button and volume keys are on the right side; the SIM tray are on the top. At the bottom sits the 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and the loudspeaker.
The back of the P30 Lite features the triple rear cameras, protruding on the upper left corned and are aligned vertically with the LED flash. The circular fingerprint scanner is on the center.
Overall, this P30 device is narrow and lightweight, which makes it easy to hold and use with one hand. This handset measures 152.9mm in height, 72.7mm in width, and 7.4mm in thickness, plus it weighs 159g. The smartphone comes with a plastic frame and a 3D curved glass rear. The gradient finish gives it a premium and classy look.
Display & Multimedia
For your multimedia needs, the Huawei P30 Lite features a 6.15inch LCD display with dewdrop notch design. The screen comes with an 2312 x 1080 FHD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Camera
The Huawei P30 Lite touts a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture in front. At the back are the triple camera system, which includes: the 24MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture; the 8MP Ultra Wide lens with f/2.4 aperture; and the 25MP Depth camera with f/2.4 aperture for bokeh and portrait shots.
The shooters on the P30 Lite comes powered by artificial intelligence. The camera app offers features like Portrait Mode, Night Mode, Beautify, AR Lens, and more.

Powering this device is an octa-core Huawei Kirin 710 processor and a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. There’s also the 6GB RAM, along with an expandable 128GB internal storage. The 3340mAh battery offers USB-C charging. Finally, the Huawei P30 Lite runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The Huawei P30 Lite is now available nationwide for P16,990. The P30 Lite comes in three colors: Midnight Back, Pearl White, and Peacock Blue.
