Huawei has launched the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro here in the Philippines.
Both devices feature notch designs and thin bezels. It also boasts of its Horizon Display, which curves at an angle of 88 degrees on the sides. A Kirin 990 series chipset, with a 16-core GPU, powers the phones.
These phones, despite similarities in design, offer different sets of features. The Mate 30 has quipped with a triple-camera setup. It consists of a comprising a 40MP SuperSensing lens, 16MP Ultra Wide-angle module, and an 8MP Telephoto shooter. Meanwhile, the Mate 30 Pro has a different quad-camera setup. It sports a 40MP Cine Camera, 40MP SuperSensing Camera, and 8MP Telephoto Camera. The last one is a 3D Depth Sensing Camera for more accurate portrait shots.

It’s also worth noting that these two devices do not have Google-branded services nor apps right out of the box. This is a result of an ongoing trade ban by the United States government. Huawei does the app download management with a pre-installed app store, as well as other key device functions normally done by Google.
The Huawei Mate 30 series will be available starting November 9 with the following prices: Php34,990 (Mate 30), Php 50,990 (Mate 30 Pro). Both devices are now available for pre-order until November 8 with free Huawei Supercharge wireless car charger and Supercharge wireless desktop charger worth Php 5,580 in tow.
