Huawei launches the Ascend P6 in Limited Kitty Pink Edition

The Ascend P6 is arguably the most gorgeous Android smartphone Huawei has ever produced. It’s slim and looks elegant with a femininely light weight of 120g. To further market it to the ladies, Huawei made the Limited Kitty Pink Edition of the Ascend P6 available in the country which was originally made only for selected markets.

Lovers of the color pink would want to get their hands on the Ascend P6 if they’re after an Android device that not only looks good but also perform quite good. It was hailed as the Best Consumer Smartphone Product by the 2013-2014 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA).

This phone has a 4.7-inch HD in-cell LCD screen technology with Magic Touch so the screen is still responsive even with gloved fingers.  It’s also protected by Gorilla Glass. The P6 is powered by Huawei’s own 1.5GHz quad-core processor to go with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, half of which is probably dedicated to its Emotion UI and built-in features. It does have a microSD slot which is something that’s often sacrificed on such a slim device.

The back has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens and BSI sensor. It supports macro shots of up to 4cm and can do full HD video recording while capturing stills at the same time. There’s also a 5-megapixel front camera which features auto facial-enhancing capabilities for the less photoshop-savvy people.

The phone also has a 2000mAh battery and along with Huawei’s unique Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) and Quick Power Control (QPC) battery optimization and power saving technology, battery performance is improved by more than 30%.

Until the end of the year, when you buy the Pink Ascend P6 (Php18,990 SRP), you’ll also get a Huawei Swan Bluetooth Wireless Speaker and a leather case.The Huawei Ascend P6 is still available in Alps White and Carbon Black.
