Earlier this week Huawei finally launched the highly anticipated Honor V9. The V9 is touted as the flaghip of Huaweis sub brand Honor. What makes people excited about this however is the price of what comes with the Huawei Honor V9.
Flagship Specs at Lower Price
To start it has a 5.7 inch QHD display, and runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a powerful processor as well with the Kirin 960. The octa-core CPU has 4 cores clock at 1.8GHz, and another 4 that clock at 2.4GHz. As if those specs are not good enough the V9 matches the CPU with memory. The V9 comes in 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB and 128GB ROM variants. The cameras are pretty high end as well with the dual rear cameras at 12MP and the front camera at 8MP.
These specs are fit for flagship models that can cost upwards of Php30,000 and those might even run on lower Android versions. However, the Honor V9 comes in at around $435 or $500, dependent on RAM. This equates to around Php 22,000 and Php 25,000. The Honor V9 is set to ship on February 28, 2017. There is no word yet when the device will be released outside the Chinese market.
