Good news to HTC users, well those who owns an HTC Sensation, Sensation XE, and Sensation XL anyway, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is now available for download.
The ICS update for these HTC phones is a global roll-out so even those here in the Philippines should be able to update their device now. In fact, I’m already downloading the update on my HTC Sensation.
The updates is done over the air so no need to connect it to your PC. Just go to Settings > About phone > Software updates and make sure you’re on a stable internet connection. The update process supports resuming so there’s no need to do a vigil on your phone.
Device that are also included in this wave of ICS update is the HTC Evo 3D, and US-bought HTC Rezound, HTC EVO Design 4G and HTC Amaze 4G.
I’ll update this post once I’m done updating and see how ICS feels on the Sensation. For HTC users who already updated to Android 4.0, how’s your phone doing?
Thanks masterpogi for the tip!
