Last night at the Republiq Bar in Resorts World Manila, HTC went all out with the launch of their newest and most powerful phone yet, their flagship phone of the year, the HTC Sensation. Also grabbing a share of the limelight is the smaller but dependable, HTC Wildfire S.
It was truly a sensational event attended by celebrities from both network toting their own HTC phones. There was also a Victoria Secret-like production where models walked the runway carrying the HTC Sensation and the Wildfire S. Providing the beats for the night was none other than the most popular DJ in the country himself, DJ Manolet Dario. As usual with HTC parties, a brand new HTC Wildfire S and HTC Sensation were raffled away. If you’re more interested with the event photos, you can visit Digital Spidey and Daddy Joey.
However, the star of the show is none other than the HTC Sensation superphone. The HTC Sensation features a unibody aluminium construction with the glass contoured along the entire edge of the screen. Speaking of the screen, this one boasts of a rarely-heard of qHD (quarter hi-def) resolution providing a greater-than-average pixel density (540 x 960) for its 4.3″ display for a crystal clear viewing experience.
The HTC Sensation is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and has the latest HTC Sense 3.0 UI which brings more fun and practicality for your smartphone user experience. Think of ease of use when all your favorite information can be placed on the lock screen itself. Or the gorgeous transitions and animations that would make you want to use your phone all the time.
The HTC Wildfire S gets officially launched as well. This new Wildfire S gave the original one a slight bump in processing power and a better HVGA display along with Android 2.3 OS.
“The new HTC Wildfire S offers an irresistible combination of value-for-money, compact design and entertainment that is as unique as you are,” said Lennard Hoornik, President, HTC South Asia Pacific. “The HTC Wildfire S makes staying connected and sharing your content, thoughts and emotions with your friends and the world a truly fun experience.”
The HTC Sensation will be available in stores by the end of the month and will carry a price tag of Php31,990. The HTC Wildfire S however is already available in three stunning shades of “˜Bloom Pink’, “˜Silver White’ and “˜Dark Gray’ with an SRP of Php15,500.
