Hot on the heels of the launch of its flagship smartphone for 2016, HTC announces a new mid-range smartphone called the HTC One S9.
Unlike its mid-range contemporaries, the One S9 was launched in Germany with a pretty demanding retail price of €499. In retrospect, the HTC 10 debuted with a €612 sticker price, just a little over €100 more expensive than the recently released mid-range smartphone.
So what do consumers get from this pricey mid-range smartphone? Well, if you’re a fan of the M9’s design, you’ll surely be enthused by the One S9 as it shares the same design principle of HTC’s former flagship smartphone.
However, as far as its specifications are concerned, the One S9 doesn’t have the right stuff to justify its steep asking price. The One S9 is pretty much just your average mid-range smartphone that sports 5-inch Super LCD panel, 13-megapixel rear camera, and a Helio X10 octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and an expandable 16GB of inbuilt storage.
