Handsets that are good-looking, affordable, and with a pop-up camera feature are hard to come by these days. Honor makes it easier with the launch of the the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro in China—both are sequels to the Honor 8X.
Both units boast an octa-core Kirin 810 SoC built on 7nm process technology and runs on Android 9.0 Pie (EMUI 9.1.1). It also flexes a 6.59-inch (2340 x 1080p) LCD display, 4000mAh battery life, and up to 512GB of storage on top of a 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM.
Camera-wise, the Honor 9X is a dual rear 48MP + 2MP lens affair while the Honor 9X Pro sports a triple rear 48MP + 8MP + 2MP setup—both feature a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie shooter. More specs and information will be revealed as soon as both handsets become official worldwide.
As for its pricing and availability, both units are available for pre-order in China, way ahead of its official release date. In the meantime, you can start saving up in time for a purchase once it reaches the Philippine market. The SRPs of each unit are as follows:
