Renders of Google’s in-house smartwatch has been revealed, though these renders aren’t official leaks from Google. Instead, they are reportedly recreations from actual source material viewed privately by the renderer.
Two designs have been presented. A larger, thicker smartwatch model named “Angelfish”, and a sleek, slimmer and thinner model named “Swordfish”, both featuring Google Assistant. Rumors persist about the capabilities of these Google smartwatches, most notably a heart rate sensor, GPS, and support for Android Wear 2.0 apps. However, based on the renders, it’s possible that the Swordfish model won’t necessarily have all these features.
No actual details have been revealed for the Google smartwatches, and while these renders are supposedly accurate, it’s always possible for the company to change the design drastically somewhere down the road.
