Epson Philippines sets out a campaign to motivate its partners and consumers to make a choice in protecting the environment.
In cooperation with SM Supermalls, Epson has launched a photo exhibit on the effect of climate changed entitled “œThe Choice to Change: Green Inspiring Blue”. The exhibit showcases a group composed of distinguished photographers and graphic designers who expressed their concern for the environment through their art work. The distinguished list includes: Bien Bautista, George Tapan, Manny Librodo, Pancho Escaler, Lito Sy, Drew Europeo and Robert Alejandro.
Aside from the photo exhibit, Epson Philippines also launched the Epson Toner & Ink Cartridge Collection and Recycling Campaign.
“œEvery year, millions of tons of printer ink and toner cartridges end up in landfills even though they can be recycled and disposed properly. Both reusing and recycling keeps cartridges out of landfills that can reduce overloading of more plastic that takes decades to break down. Epson is committed to expand the collection network with at least 10 additional drop-off locations to be added every year,” explains Hideto Nakamura, Country Manager of Epson Philippines Corp.
The launch of the Epson Toner & Ink Cartridge Collection and Recycling program will start off at SM Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Cebu and SM Davao. Recycling bins for Epson toner and ink cartridges will be situated in SM Cyberzones of these malls.
Do your part and dispose your ink and toner cartridge properly. If you wish to view the photo exhibit, please visit SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium from June 3 ““ 9. After that, it will go on a road show exhibit at the following SM Supermalls:
