Note: Plan P999, due to its unlimited internet access provision at a very affordable rate, doesn’t offer any calling feature.
2. Are the old Tattoo Postpaid plans still available? No. The new plans are far more affordable and superior than the current ones.
3. What will happen to current subscribers of old Globe Tattoo broadband postpaid plans? Existing subscribers who are out of their lock-up period may transfer to the new plans should they wish to by proceeding to any Globe Store to request for a change in their subscription. Only subscribers out of their lock-up period may do this.
4. Why should I get a postpaid broadband plan from Globe Tattoo? Globe offers the most affordable broadband plan available nationwide at only P499 and at the same time it also is the only brand with up to 3mbps speed across all postpaid plans, even on unlimited.
5. How do I subscribe to a Globe Tattoo Postpaid plan? Just bring any 1) valid ID, 2) proof of billing address, and 3) proof of income OR 1 month advanced payment and proceed to any Globe Store to subscribe.
6. What is the MyFi Device The Globe Tattoo Broadband MyFi Device is wireless WiFi router that enables you to share your internet access with other WiFi capable internet access devices simultaneously within a 10meter radius (coverage may decrease if there are obstructions such as walls). It’s an optional modem that you can subscribe to in lieu of the regular Globe Tattoo Postpaid stick for only an additional P250/ month for 24 months. After 24 months, you no longer have to pay the P250 and your bill will revert back to the regular plan rate.

do you happen to know if the unlimited tattoo 999 plan has a limit/cap? because i’m using prepaid now and if i subscribe to supersurf it is actually capped at 1gb per day. and then after that can no longer connect.

Unfortunately, meron na nga and it happened just recently. You should be getting an SMS message like this:
“globe advisory: your account has reached 1GB in usage today.Subject to Globe fair use Policy,your internet service has been temporarily deactivated an will resume tomorrow.This promo is intended for moderate use.For heavy browsing,please upgrade to our postpaid plans.thank you.”

I agree.. There is NO CAP/LIMIT pag POSTPAID ka.. I’m the kind of person whon loves to download a lot and streams a lot but so far for 6 months that i’ve been using this pospaid account NEVER pa ako naka try.. NOT UNLESS SELECTED AREAS LANG.
i’m not exactly sure if it’s capped. but i’ve been downloading a lot since i got the 999 postpaid plan. and as of today, the download speed won’t go up to 100 kbps or more as it would usually do. so i’m just gonna observe this. too bad i’m already locked in on a one year contract.

I have a myfi package bought from Globe that comes with a prepaid tattoo sim. While the use of the myfi is convenient esp. when I use my iPad, i wonder if there is an easier way to load and or apply for the SUPERSURF promo other than physically removing the sim card from the myfi unit and installing it in a phone then sending a text message? This is too much hassle and defeats the purpose of having a myfi.
use your ipad’s browser to connect to the MyFi’s admin page. this doesn’t require an internet connection, you just have to be in the myfi’s network. there’s a sms function in the admin page which you can use to load your prepaid.
is this ok for samsung galaxy tab?

1. Is it really without any lock-in period? I hate being stocked up in a 2-year contract again, first it will run fine and after some months it gets worse and worse (DSL, Cable internet).
2. What are your experiences with the daily limit and cap on this postpaid plan? What will the daily limit be?

i purchased this myfi post paid plan. the first month i used this i got a lot of trouble using the huawei device, when you subscribe to the plan the device doesn’t come with a seperate 220v outlet charger which i believe it should be the package, instead you only get a usb charger, the battery doesn’t last that long not even closer to 1 hour continuous use. when you are on the road surfing on your mobile device you would notice the device is so hot and sometimes will disconnect you. and after one month of use my device went dead. i sent it to globe for repair. its not a good purchase dont waste your money if you will plan for globe postpaid.

can we plug the usb charger to a usb adaptor on a wall charger? one time we used a cellphone charger to charge the device. ( it has the same mini usb size), and after a few days it wont charge anymore..
yup. sometimes kasi pagwall socket and yung usb adapter mo walang way to control the surge, nasisira nya yung charger eh pag nagspike ang voltage.

I’m actually searching for the download limit of the Globe Broadband Postpaid and brought me to this blog. I have my Globe Broadband Postpaid 999 setup just this week. The Globe employee told me it’s capped to 2GB download per day but I just can’t prove if his telling the truth because I haven’t tried downloading over what was said yet. Uhm maybe this weekend.

there’s no termination fee as long as you’ve went past your contract… min. of 2 years i think. no need to return the usb din. punta ka lang sa globe center.

Hello. We’re interested on upgrading our net connection (either by upgrading our current PLDT plan or by jumping to Globe’s Postpaid plans). I have several questions that Filipino forums can’t seem to answer directly or I dunno, their answers are just too vague or complicated most of the time.
1.) Is Tattoo’s Postpaid Plan 999 included in Globe’s Fair Use Policy?
2.) If so, what are the limits enforced by Globe on this plan? (Value of data or speed cap per month or per day).
Optional: Do you think it’s worth switching to Globe? or just stay with PLDT and upgrade (Plan 999 too).

For me the best pa rin ang dsl connection pero kung gusto mo handy at pwedeng dalhin kahit on the go globe prepaid/postpaid sticks ang maganda lalo na yung tattoo 4g flash at tattoo 4g superstick dahil 4g connection na sya up to 7+ mbps at minimum of 12-48 kbps if no signal

I have a 999,- Postpaid plan since May 15th this year. I am not locked in because I am using the SIM with my Tatoo Stick I used before for prepaid. The connection was mostly fine, 3G with average 2-3mb download and 0,3mb upload. I never observed any limitations (fair use). It seemed really unlimited.
Since about 2-3 weeks the quality deteriorated dramatically. Now it’s mostly HSDAP or even EDGE connection with signal strenght of 20% until 0%! Before I had always more than 90%.
Location is San Fran at Camotes Islands, close to the high school. Has anyone experienced the same? Is there some work going on? I excluded already possible causes from my side.

I'm having a hard time in connecting our mobile phones to the wireless network. We are currently using a wireless gateway with Make and Model : EchoLife HG521. The network name is broadcasted but we're just getting a spinning circle like it's trying to connect forever. It is secured with WPA and I'm pretty sure that we are using the correct password.
