Globe recently launched their very own tablet, the Tattoo Mediapad which you can get for Php10,990 (12 months 0% interest) under the Tattoo Personalized Plan 999.
The 7-inch Tattoo Mediapad is a rebrand of the underrated Huawei Mediapad. It’s one of the nicest 7-inch Android tablet in the market that we’ve used but was hampered by its Php21,990 price tag when it was launched early this year. Having a price of P10,990 and a postpaid broadband plan from Globe to go with it makes it more appealing now especially to students or those looking for an iPad alternative.
What we love about the Mediapad is that it doesn’t look and feel cheap with its aluminum body and solid construction. Then there’s also the 1280 x 800 IPS LCD display which looks really good on a 7-inch panel and offers wide viewing angle.
The Tattoo Mediapad is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor and now runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. You’ll also get a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video chats and a 5-megapixel rear camera. It does have a limited 8GB internal storage but you can slap in up to 32GB microSD if you need more space.
Globe’s Tattoo Mediapad Plan 999 gives you a broadband connection with a base speed of 7.2 mbps which you can also share via the Mediapad’s WiFi hotspot feature.

tempting. unfortunately globe sucks. at the ayala triangle garden my sun wi-fi was much faster than globe’s (if you can even get a signal at all, how ironic).
not a bad choice of tablet for globe to rebrand. and ICS na pala ito.
