Gliffy is a web based application that is similar to Microsoft Visio. It’s still in beta version although you could sign up and try it. They are still planning for the pricing implementation. There will be a free version where it will be ad-supported and comes with a limited set of features and there will be a subscription version that won’t show any ads at all. Developers of Gliffy have wisely used the new web technologies so that it would give the user an experience similar to using a desktop application. What’s impressive about Gliffy is that you perform an online collaboration and publish it to the web by creating an image of it. Aside from that, you could also track the version history with information such as who edited it and when was it edited.
