To commemorate G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary, G-SHOCK did not only bring “˜Shock The World (STW)’ event in Manila but also unveiled a limited edition Shock the World Manila watch. And what better way to celebrate G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary than to have the creator and father of G-SHOCK Kikuo Ibe present during the event.
The G-SHOCK Shock the World Manila watch has a white band and bezel and bears the colors of the Philippine flag. On the upper portion of the strap are 30 red stars representing 30 years of G-SHOCK and a blue text which shows the year G-SHOCK was created. On the other side, there’s the popular patriotic symbol 3 stars and a sun.
The limited edition Shock the World Manila watch is based from G-SHOCK model DW-6900NB-7 and features a Mirror Dial. It is Shock Resistant and Water Resistant up to 200M. The STW MNL watch has an SRP of Php 6,995 and will be available exclusively to the Philippines.
G-SHOCK also showcased its latest timepieces including the GD-X6900MNM-1 (Eminem), GLS-8900-2 (Louie Vito), GW-9400 (Master of G Rangeman), MT-G (Metal-Twisted), and GB-X6900 (Bluetooth) watches.
The latest G-SHOCK Bluetooth watch, GB-X6900 has music controller, incoming notifications, and a phone finder function and now supports iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
