Fujifilm earlier today launched its latest addition to the X-Series line, the Fujifilm X-T1.
The Fujifilm X-T1 features an advanced viewfinder with a wide viewing angle (diagonal 38 deg. / horizontal 31 deg), 2.36M dot resolution, 0.77x magnification (highest viewfinder magnification for digital cameras) and a lag time of just 0.005 sec – that’s less than one tenth the speed of their X-E2 camera. Its OLED electronic viewfinder also has four display modes: Full, Normal, Dual and Vertical.
The Fujifilm X-T1 has a 16.3 megapixel APS-C size X-Trans CMOS II sensor and can enable high ISO setting of 51200.
The Fujifilm X-T1 has the fastest AF speed among its class at 0.08 seconds. It also has a fast startup time of 0.5 seconds, a shutter time lag of 0.05 seconds and shooting interval of 0.5 seconds, all delivered by its EXR Processor II which is twice as fast as Fujifilm’s previous processor. Likewise, it has phase detection AF and motion predictive AF for continuous shooting up to 8 frames per second.
Located on top of the Fujifim X-T1 are the dials for shutter speed, ISO and exposure compensation.
Built tough to take on any shooting conditions, the Fujifilm X-T1’s die-cast magnesium body has 80 points of weather sealing making it dust-resistant and also water-resistant. It also offers freeze resistance to -10 deg Celsius. The Fujifilm X-T1’s double-deck dials are made of aluminum and its 3-inch tilting LCD monitor features tempered glass for additional protection.
