Fitbit returns to the market with a new product, the Fitbit Alta HR. This device provides sleep tracking, which in turn gives full insight to the user’s health and fitness.
Fitbit Alta HR comes out as the world’s slimmest wrist device. It tracks continuous heart rate, contains automatic exercise recognition, and sleep tracking. The battery life lasts up to seven days, while smart notifications appear on a slimmer wrist-based design. The Alta HR will be available for presale in the West, while the local market gets it on retail around April or May.
To be specific with the features, the Alta HR’s Sleep Stages uses heart rate variability to break down how you sleep. This feature estimates how much the user spends in light sleep, deep and REM sleep, as well as time awake at night. Meanwhile, Sleep Insights takes the raw Fitbit data to create personalized guidance for users, focused on optimizing their sleep.
